The evening my mother was admitted to Hospice, I was apprehensive and nervous. Once I met the staff, all of my doubts were erased. They showed me such compassion and care that I knew my mother would be in good hands. They were generous with their time, explaining everything to me so I knew that not only would my mother’s needs be met, but mine would be as well. I felt assured that I could contact them personally if necessary and I left with a feeling of calm, confident that my mother was in good hands. She was cared for by hospice staff and volunteers with great love and skill, and our family had a great sense of assurance knowing that in her last days she was comfortable and loved.
